Conservatory Superior of Music of Castellon
Rubén de la Rosa Beltrán took up his musical studies at the age of 8 at the Ateneo Musical Schola Cantorum of La Vall d'Uixó. In 2001, he finished his Higher Education at the Conservatorio Superior de Musica of Castellón, winning an extraordinary prize upon graduation. Subsequently, he continued his studies with Luis González ( Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid y Musikene ) Cesar Asensi ( Orquesta Comunidad de Madrid ) and Antonio Cambres ( Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid ). Between 2007 and 2009 he completed an MA in Pedagogy and Interpretation in the University of Valencia with Professor Rubén Marques (soloist of the OCV Palau de les Arts ) and in 2011-2012 he carried out his postgraduate studies at the Advanced Music Conservatory of Aragón with Rubén Marques, Tamas Davida (soloist of the OCV Palau de les Arts ) and Gabor Tarkovi (soloist in the Philharmonic Orchestra of Berlin). In 2017, he obtained an MA in Musical Research from the International University of Valencia.
He has completed advanced courses with teachers such as Maurice André, Eric Aubier, Hakan Hardeberger, Max Somerhalder, Thomas Stevens and Douglas Prosser among others. Since 2001, he has collaborated with different groups and orchestras, including the Banda Sinfónica Municipal de Madrid, Orquesta sinfónica Ciudad de Oviedo and Orquesta Municipal de Valencia.
From 2004 to 2011, he was a professor of different professional conservatories and from 2011to 2015 he taught at the Conservatori Superior de Música Joaquín Rodrigo of Valencia and Oscar Esplà of Alicante. In 2016, he became a professor at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Salvador Seguí of Castellón.
Alongside his teaching career, he has worked with other directors at the OCV Palau de les Arts such as Lorin Maazel, Valery Gergiev, Omer Weimar, Henrik Nànàshi, Nicola Luisotti, Vladimir Jurowski, Riccardo Chailly and Zubin Mehta among others. He also collaborates with the Castellón's Symphony Orchestra as a soloist.
