Sarah Burk Dye–Dr. Dye teaches clarinet and music history at Indiana State University and performs with the ISU Faculty Woodwind Quintet. Dr. Dye received her bachelor of music degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, her master of music from the University of Michigan, and her D.M.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Sarah is an endorsing artist for Leblanc and performs on Leblanc Legacy Bb and A clarinets.
Cory Tiffin–Cory is Principal Clarinet of the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra and a founding member of the Anaphora chamber ensemble. Cory received his bachelor of music degree from Depaul University, where he studied with fellow Leblanc artists Wagner Campos, Julie DeRoche, and Larry Combs. Cory is a strong advocate for chamber music and is on faculty at the People's Music School in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood. He is an endorsing artist for Leblanc and performs on Leblanc Opus II Bb and A clarinets.
Jim Ognibene – Jim Ognibene has been the solo bass clarinetist with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra since 1986. He also performs regularly with James Levine and the Met Chamber Ensemble and on the Met Orchestra's symphonic concerts at Carnegie Hall. Prior to joining the Met, Mr. Ognibene performed in the Charlotte Symphony (NC), "The President's Own" United States Marine Band, and as a guest bass clarinetist with the New York Philharmonic. He has also performed with several festivals, including the Teton Music Festival in Wyoming, the Spoleto Festival in Italy, Bard Summer Music Festival in New York, and the Monadnock Music Festival in New Hampshire. Since 2003, Mr. Ognibene has also served as clarinet coach for the Verbier Festival Orchestra in Verbier Switzerland. He holds music degrees from Indiana University and the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University. His clarinet teachers include Robert Marcellus, Anthony Gigliotti, and Earl Bates, and his bass clarinet teachers were Larry Bocaner and Al Zetzer. He can be heard on the Met's television and radio broadcasts, high definition movie theatre telecasts, DVDs and studio recordings including the Met's Grammy award winning recordings of Wagner's Ring. Mr. Ognibene is an endorsing artist for Selmer Paris clarinets and performs on the Selmer Paris model 33 and 67 bass clarinets.
Lynn Ligammari - Lynn Ligammari is currently as a Teaching Artist for the Lincoln Center Institute of the Arts, and for Midori and Friends in New York, NY. She also performs regularly with THOUGHT, The Al Chez Brother's of Funk, Hylofi, The Sax Cartel, Mocean Worker, the Lynn Ligammari Quartet, and The LL Duo. She has also been fortunate to work and perform with Dick Oatts, Wycliffe Gordon, DIVA, Les McCann, Al Chez, the Temptations, Rich Thompson, Harold Jones, Dave Rivello, and Phish's Mike Gordon. Ms. Ligammari received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Eastman School of Music , specializing in both Jazz and Classical saxophone. Her teachers include Walt Weiskopf, Dave Schiavone, Fred Sturm, David Demsey, Chienkwan Lin, Ramon Ricker and Chris Azzara. Ms. Ligammari is an endorsing artist for Selmer Paris saxophones and performs on a Selmer Paris Super Action Series II alto and soprano saxophone and a Mark VI tenor saxophone.
Jessy J – Jessy J performs as a saxophonist and vocalist in Michael Bolton's band. Her musical career began at age 4 when she began studying piano. She continued with piano studies and competitions throughout her childhood and began playing saxophone around the age of 15. After college, Jessy began her professional career as a saxophonist, recording with Michael Buble and touring with the Temptations, Jessica Simpson, Armando Manzanero, Gloria Trevi, and Michael Bolton. She has been a member of the touring cast of the Off-Broadway musical Blast!, performing as a singer, actress, dancer, and saxophonist with the show's touring cast in the U.S., the U.K., and Japan. Her self-titled album was released in 2007, followed by her second CD, Tequila Moon, released in 2008. William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide. Jessy graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in jazz studies. She is an endorsing artist for Selmer Paris saxophones and performs on a Selmer Paris Mark VI alto saxophone and a Super Action 80 Series II tenor saxophone.
Clarence Hines - Clarence Hines is an Assistant Professor of Jazz Studies at the University of North Florida where he teaches trombone and jazz arranging. He also serves on the faculty of the North Florida Music Camp and the Birch Creek Music Performance Center. Dr. Hines is an active performer, composer, and arranger in the North Florida and South Georgia area, having appeared recently with the O'Jays, John Pizzarelli, Josh Groban, and the Harry James Orchestra. Festival appearances include the North Sea Jazz Festival, Rochester International Jazz Festival, and Jacksonville Jazz Festival. Dr. Hines received a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies from the University of North Florida as well as Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in Jazz Studies and Contemporary Media from the Eastman School of Music. He is an endorsing artist for C.G. Conn trombones and performs on a Conn 8H trombone.
Jeffrey Martin - Trombonist Jeff Martin has performed professionally with the Dallas Jazz Orchestra, Pete Peterson's Collection, the Airmen of Note, and the Alan Baylock Jazz Orchestra among many other top flight big bands. He has also shared the stage with jazz legends David Liebman, Joe Lovano, Herbie Hancock, Slide Hampton, Gerry Mulligan, Clark Terry, Peter Erskine, Jerry Bergonzi, Randy Brecker and many others. An accomplished writer/arranger, his arrangements have been recorded and performed by numerous High Schools and colleges, among them the UNT One O'Clock Lab band, SIU, and the Airmen of Note. Jeff attended the University of North Texas and performed with the One O'Clock Lab Band, touring the United States, Japan, and Hong Kong with the ensemble. He is an endorsing artist for King trombones and performs on a King 2102L trombone.
Ben Patterson - Ben Patterson is a trombonist, composer, and arranger performing jazz trombone Airmen of Note and lead trombone with the Alan Baylock Orchestra. Ben is also a member of DC's top Latin group, Sin Miedo. In 2004, Ben released The Prowl, his first jazz CD as a leader. His discography also includes the releases, Two Seconds to Midnight and Eastern Standard Time by the Alan Baylock Jazz Orchestra, Airmen of Note Live, Out In Front, A Holiday Note from Home, and Tiempo Latino, by the Airmen of Note, and Estoy Enamorado by Sin Miedo. Ben graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in jazz studies. While in Texas, Ben played lead trombone with the acclaimed One O'clock Lab Band. He is an endorsing artist for King trombones and performs on a King 2102plg trombone.
