Chisato Abe

She graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts in 1992. In the same year, she won a prize in the third division of Chamber Music at the Tokyo International Music Competition. Received a Festival Special Award at the Narbonne International Brass Quarter in France and made a commemorative CD.

She studied the trumpet under Mineo SUGIKI, the late Yukio KANAISHI and studied chamber music under Mineo SUGIKI, Yukihiro SEKIYAMA and Eiichi INAGAWA.

Currently, a member of trumpet duo “DEUX TRESOR” and “Yokohama Brass Quartet”. In addition, She is widely active as a soloist, in chamber music and orchestras. On the other hand, she works as an instructor of the music division at Ferris University.
