Artistic experience
Leonid worked at a number of well-known Russian orchestras:
the orchestra at Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko opera and ballet theatre; the Moscow State Academic Symphonic Orchestra under the conduct of Pavel Kogan; the Moscow Symphony Orchestra; the Russian State Symphonic Orchestra “Young Russia” under the conduct of Mark Gorenstein; Evgeny Svetlanov Symphony Orchestra; the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia under the conduct of Vladimir Spivakov.Today Leonid is the principal French horn at “MusicAeterna” orchestra under the conduct of Teodor Currentzis, Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Leonid performs with a number of musical groups and ensembles:
the soloists’ ensemble “New Music Studio”; Harmonie-octet; the Ensemble of contemporary music; the Wood-wind quintet of the State Academic Symphonic orchestra of Russia; “Musica Viva” chamber orchestra under the conduct of A.Rudin.As a solo player Leonid Voznesenski frequently goes on tours to Russian cities and abroad.
Educational experience
Associate Professor for French horn at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
He also works as a jury member at various competitions for wind and percussion instruments.
