Atlanta Chamber Brass
Rolando Fernandez is a native of Ciudad Victoria, Mexico. He began study of the trumpet at age 11 and has since appeared as a soloist throughout the Southeast. Mr. Fernandez leads an active career as a performer and educator, and is a founding member of the Atlanta Chamber Brass. Rolando Fernandez frequently performs with several professional classical ensembles and including Atlanta’s leading jazz commercial groups Joe Gransden and his Big Band, and Bumpin’ the Mango.
Rolando Fernandez is in demand as a clinician, and maintains a large private studio in the metro Atlanta area. Fernandez is a graduate of Young Harris College and Mercer University Townsend School of Music. His main teachers are Jonathan Swygert, Dr. John Bryant, Dr. Benny Ferguson. Additionally, Mr. Fernandez studied with Vince DiMartino, Ken Larson, Jan Roller, John Aley at Interlochen Center for the Arts.
Rolando Fernandez performs exclusively on Vincent Bach Trumpets and is a Vincent Bach Artist.
